Bull neck texture western leather belt for men, women and kids, made in Mexico. A nubuck leather cowboy belt with a bull neck texture, a cowhide (vaqueta) lining and a leather inlay buckle: the front of the buckle is inlaid with the same leather, stitched inside the metal frame.

Before you buy: you choose the color and the size. The buckle's metal tone may be gold- or silver-tone, depending on stock, and can't be chosen. The grain and the leather tone may vary slightly from piece to piece.

The bull neck texture is a pattern of deep wrinkles and creases that runs from end to end. The nubuck finish has a matte, almost velvety look. On dark brown, the black creases stand out against the brown; on black it is tone-on-tone.

Which color? Black is the dressiest: dark denim, gray or black dress pants, or cinched over a dress. Dark brown with black creases is the most western: light- or medium-wash jeans, a white shirt and boots or leather huaraches.

Quick size guide
It's the same style from size 22 to 44: a western or cowboy belt for men and women in the adult sizes, and a kids western belt (a kids cowboy belt) for boys and girls in the small sizes. In Mexico we call it a cinto vaquero. Choose by measurement, not by age or gender. Sizes 22 to 32 are 1.2" (30 mm) wide and have the shield-shaped buckle; they're the sizes kids usually wear. Sizes 34 to 44 are 1.6" (40 mm) wide, have the rectangular buckle and are the same for women and men. Adults with a waist or pants size of 30" (76 cm) or less fall in sizes 22 to 32: those are 1.2" (30 mm) wide and have the shield-shaped buckle.

Choose a belt 2 inches larger than the pants size or waist measurement of the person who will wear it. For example, for size 32 pants (or a 32" waist), choose belt size 34. For kids, measure the waist with a tape measure and add 2 inches (5 cm): for a 22" (56 cm) waist, choose belt size 24.
