Mexican Leather Belts

Genuine leather belts, handmade in Mexico. Western, piteado, embroidered and tooled styles in real vaqueta leather, in several widths.

You'll find everything from the traditional cinto piteado — hand-embroidered with authentic pita fibre over vaqueta leather — to western belts with metal conchos, crocodile and snake tooling, braided styles and dress belts. All cut and worked by hand in Mexican workshops.

What is a piteado belt?

A piteado belt (in Spanish cinto piteado or cinturón piteado, and fajo piteado in northern Mexico) is a strip of vaqueta leather embroidered stitch by stitch with pita — a plant fibre drawn from the maguey, not synthetic thread. It is the belt worn with charro and western outfits, and the reason no two are ever identical.

Made in Mexico and shipped straight from the workshop.
