Women's Sunflower Tooled Leather Belt – Hand-Painted Mexican Western Belt

Hand-painted sunflower belt for women in tooled leather, handmade in Mexico. A 40 mm (1.5") strap with a metal western buckle, in brown, honey or black.

The pattern is tooled into the leather first and the sunflowers are painted on afterwards by hand, flower by flower, so no two belts come out alike: the yellows, the orange at the center and the depth of the foliage shift a little from piece to piece. The leaf-and-scroll background around the flowers is the same Mexican saddlery tooling you see on a saddle, scaled down to a strap.

The buckle is metal with western engraving, and light contrast stitching runs the length of the belt from end to end. At 40 mm (1.5") it is the comfortable width: it goes through the loops of regular jeans, but the belt still shows, which is the point when it has flowers on it. Black gives the sunflowers the most contrast and is the one that works best with a dress; honey is the most western of the three; brown is the easiest to pair with boots and with leather huaraches.
